I have the same problem
I have tryed 2 download scripts
LDM and DownloadsII, i have setted everything right in User Group Manager and Download ACP.
Can someone post here the right method?

In some way i resolved it, it is from host settings, if you have access to php.ini change the upload_max_filesize to what you need, i think most times is setted to 2 MB change it at whatever you like
