You can only chat with people that are youre friends (contacts) but maybe it can be changed.

yes okay. i cheked it and there are people online which are my friends, but they dont become showed in the list.

i think i have exactly the same problem like this two guys: No one is showing up as 'online'. - Page 2 - Comet Chat Forum

Just for the case if some other people also have this problem (but there is no official solution for the problem)

first i installed nulled one by psilocybin...

it also shows same prob..so i download nulled one by NLP...

i overwritten all the files & run install.php again...

same prob is there...

You should delete the old tables and then try to reinstall, I am not quite sure why it won't find you as logged in if you are in fact, logged in. :\
