but i hve a 1 question if i want to show shout box in every page of my forum...means if i am in some section..in there also show shoutbox in above so how i can do this??

Should do, the normal 3.6.x vbshout works on 3.8.x so I cant see why this upgrade wouldnt

It returns a "flood" on the newthread, whenever it's supposed to announce in the shoutbox that someone posted a newthread. Anyone know why?

sorry if i missed this somewhere in the thread but how can i get this on my vba cmps portal page? do i have to make a module for it? i just tried editing the vba portal template and added the <!--{%SHOUTBOX%}--> under the $navbar
