Only problem now is, how do I chmod the stuff back to their original settings? I'm using a FTP Client called FileZilla. How do I make them go back to 755 or whatever they were before?

1. This shouldn't be here.
1.a) Right click the file/folder when connected to server and then click file permissions,
1.b) It will say CHMOD: [number], write the number in the [number] box.

Check to see if it's in the archive you downloaded. If it is, upload it to your forum root.

Note: some hosts will block anything named keygen.???. If you find you cannot upload it, try renaming the keygen.php to something else, like index_key.php and upload the renamed file. Then when following instructions and you get to where it says to run hxxt://yoursite.com/keygen.php, replace keygen.php with whatever you renamed the keygen to.

Now I see the problem. The keygen file is called gysn-kg.php. That's what you should run.

2.Chmod all files and folders to 777
(except keygen.php)

1. In your FTP client, select all of your uploaded vB files and folders, right click on them and choose Properties, which should give you a dialogue window where you can change the permissions of the files and folders.

2. Change them in the file manager of your cPanel or whatever your host has available for account management.
