I'm using greenfox, but also still using 3.8.0.

Some of my members don't like the green so was going to add this style to my forums, BUT- I see it's for 3.8.1. Will it still work fine in 3.8.1?

Or- If I update my forums to 3.8.1, will my current 3.8.0 greenfox style still work?

Yes because only 1 template goes out of date with the change of versions so it should work fine the only upgrades your shouldent attempt are skins from 3.6.12 and below.

Yes. You need to edit your 'Header' template for this style, via your AdminCP.

This is the original Header template from my Greenfox style:

So..... to add a link after 'Members', find this in the header template:

HTML:

And below put your link. Something like this:

HTML:

        <td width="78" height="34"  class="css_nav"><a href="LINK TO WEBPAGE GOES HERE.php" rel="nofollow">NAME YOUR TAB HERE</a></td>

Example:

HTML:

AddinG the above, will add a link, that will be shown to ALL members. You can use <IF> tags here too if you only want certain members to see the link.
