so if i wanted to change it to just /sitemap/ would i have to change any settings? (in the files or anywhere else) Also, for that same reason, could I do the same thing to the filenames, taking away x2yzseo_ from the title, and would have i have to change any settings again for that? finally, if i just wanted to rename all the instances of x2yzseo (including the file path) would I take the same steps?

i dont know exactly if the generator calls back to vbseo. but if u want to make it sure, wait till someone release a "nulled" version.

you have to rename every x2yzseo file and the content in the file, too. so you need a php editor to rename everything, thats a lot of work, but if u want your "own" custom version you should do that.

i took the same version, just renamed it a bit. everything else is the same... as u can see at my first post, it works perfectly...
 
For some reason everything works fine until I get to the vbtube than I have to physical go in and change all the text in file that says vbseo to x2yzseo.

nice to hear that. yes, maybe you have to rename a bit. but vbseo and sitemap generator is already renamed...

am i right in understanding that you want me to open up dreamweaver(which I use) find every instance of "x2yzseo_" in every single file, and delete it to remove that from the installation?

yes, then you got sitemap only. or you take the "original" sitemap generator from vbseo and delete vbseo_. but it doesnt work with x2yzseo together, because you have to rename x2yzseo to seo, too.

But if u do that, take psp pad. its easier to use.

do you mean that will not work for the vBSEO, that I should only do those things for the sitemap files?

Its all very confusing i may just leave it be..

you need the same (custom or normal) versions of both to get them work perfectly. if u only modify the sitemap generator, he dont know that u have installed vbseo, too...

sir i installed all things succesfully just now this version give any trouble? if it wont give any trouble means than just this version is enough for me

What trouble you mean ? this isn't gold, this is the 1st public release...

i recommend to install the gold version i customized...
