Tracker for vb Version 3.8.3

Hi all

New to building sites
I want to add a torrent tracker to my site
I need a easy to follow fool proof 1
Also i only have a cpanel

Any help or tips greatly appreciated

Pretty sure you need a DEDICATED server.. poss a VPS but not sure.

Also I think it's not available for the latest version.

Search the forums.. there's a couple of threads about Torrent Trackers.

Ive tryed that 1 and u do need a dedi

I mean for ANY tracker- Im sure you need a dedi... Not just for certain trackers.

In other words- If you want a torrent tracker... you need to get dedicated hosting.

vBitty XBT requires dedicated hosting.
vBitty PHP works on shared/vps hosting.

Keep in mind that this mod requires several edits. If you try to upgrade vb, you WILL break it. Don't come back asking how to install it, there is extensive documentation included in the download.

FINAL EDIT

The PHP version never went past 3.8.0 due to a lack of time by the mod-maker. The version in SVN is 3.6.x.
The XBT version can be run on shared or vps, but ONLY if they give you rights to add packages and enter terminal as root user.

Right ive heard that if i put Version 3.6.10 on i can have a tracker with the cpanel
What is the easiest and best version to get?
