RSS Feeds Double Posting *FIX*

Are you pissed off with RSS feeds double posting every 8 to 12 minutes and there nothing you set works?

well i have the answer....

Its definetly a plugin causing disruption to the RSS feeder,
and ive found the culprit.

DISABLE: Inferno VbShout (any version)


ill keep you posted but so far all is well with my RSS with that hack disabled :)

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

*confirmed* since removal or disablement of inferno shoutbox all the problems have gone. excessive server loads was one of them where inferno was using 380mb of server memory and also inferno caused havoc with rss feeds double posting.

this has now all been solved and im now using MGC evo chatbox.
