I am trying to validate an xhtml in validator.w3.org
This is the first error: Error Line 1 column 61: invalid formal public identifier "-//W3C//Dtd HTML 4.01 transitional//EN": invalid public text class.

I have removed the quote after EN, then I added it back with as space between EN" "http it is still telling me it is an error. Can anyone help?
