[RESOLVED] Server-Side?

Hello, I am the webmaster of a wireless ISP. I am 18 years old and am fluent in Java, HTML, and most JScript. However, I am not very familiar with 揹ynamic?html.

I want to put a script into the html of a web page that will display each of our towers?status (online or offline) and other systems as well. I am that I need to do this 搒erver-side?but I don抰 entirely know how to do that. I know that our server is programmed in C++ and unfortunately I have no experience with that programming language. Currently we have to go in manually with Frontpage and edit the page for customers to see if we are working on a tower or some other reason that a tower might be offline and display its status and republish the web page. The previous webmaster didn't bother updating the page when it required it and instead left it alone because the tower(s) would only be down for a few hours at the most; even though it would cause the phones would ring off the hook. I'd like to avoid this on the new web site and have a script to display either a real-time status or an "update when page is refreshed" kinda thing. Maybe if you viewed this page you might understand what I want to do:

I am in the process of giving the website a facelift so if the above link doesn't take you anywhere then this new link should:
http://

I am interested in learning how to do this down to each line of code (if it is not too time consuming) so that I may customize it at will, however the new site is to be published soon so I don't want to learn just the basics and figure out the rest by trial-and-error.
