[Req]How to make forum in read-only mode?

Hey,
I have to carry-on some maintainence in my forum and hence want to bring my forum in read-only mode..

Remember: I dont want the forum to switch off. I want people to read posts but registration, posting and all tose things should be off??

How do i do so?

Change all usergroups to> Can post in forum to no.

Vboptions>user registration>disable registration.
