hey guys, i got this error when i try to connect:<br /><br />Access denied for user: 'cmontec2_inet@localhost' (Using password: YES)<br /><br />what i've done:<br /><br />1) created my database<br />2) created my table<br />3) created a username/password<br />4) gave permissions to my user for my database that i created<br /><br />this works for me on my home computer...what's up with that???<!--content-->
Hi,<br /><br />I seem to remember from when I set it up,<br /><br />The user is something like "cmontec2_user"<br />The database is .... "cmontec2_database"<br /><br />and the password does not have the "cmontec2_" on the front of it.<br /><br />not sure if that helps, but I know I'd missed the "cmontec2_" equivalent off my database name. (this is me assuming that "cmontec2" is the first eight characters of your domain).<br /><br />Andy<!--content-->
