You can recover the deleted files using recover program. One of the programs I know which works on MS windows and which is free is "Recover Files 2". You can download it from following location

Did you empty your recycle bin? If not,you can open the bin and restore them.If you have deleted important stuff,I would take it to the shop.Do not turn system restore, although, I do not think you can restore, deleted files.

Have you deleted the whole folder or the contents? Don't turn off System Restore -in fact try using it to go back to before your mistake. Is yours the only account on your computer, if there is another user account and you haven't restricted access, you may be able to get to your stuff from another desktop. If your documents are in the recycle bin they may be recoverable.

Recuva (pronounced ?recover?) is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by users.
