When i try uploading a XML Style it shows this;

Updating style information for each style...

* Default Style ... (Templates) (StyleVars) (Replacement Variables) (CSS) (Controls) Done.

And when i try uploading a mod it shows this;

No file uploaded and no local file found.

Are you going into "Products & plugins" > Import Product

I tried to recreate the same scenario. Seems you didn't upload the file. In the first box, browse to the file, and then hit upload

EITHER upload the XML file from your computer

I only got that error when I didn't use a file uploaded from my computer.
