Hacked

Hi guys,

Yesterday, my forum was hacked by someone called 'DA078!!2@'.

I have a back up being installed now, but is there any real way for me to protect my forum in the future?

In the config.php file you can change the location of the admincp. Make your cPanel password isn't easy to guess. Use letters,numbers and symbols to make it a strong password.

Check your file/folder permissions. Files=644 folders=755. Anything greater than those values=vulnerabilities.

And only make admins you trust and are good friends. Adding strays = vulnerabilities.
