Hi,

I am wonderging wehteher ther is a tool that will make table in Divs. By this I mean is the a toll that will replicate a e.g. 4 colum 6 row Table and replicate that with Divs.

Also seen as I am new to Divs and CSS for that matter is there any templates and/or tutorials that I can use that are properly commented?

Many Thanks
I've never came across a table to div maker before, then again I have never looked as I do it myself.

This site might be of use to you, as it takes you through css and is quite simple to understand...much better then sticking to table design and then running it through a converter any day You will have much more control and understand it, which is better for browser compatibility and if there is a problem you know where to look to fix it.

http://www.w3schools.com/w3c/default.asp
The target="_blank">HTML Utopia:Designing Without Tables Using CSS

Go to the section labeled simple css layout. What I did is used there code and went thr and changed things to see what happened and stuff. It taught me a lot about css, and webdesign.
The link I had was to the free sample if you look at the link I posted and go to the top right, green box you can download the free sample.
this smacks of a lack of understanding... do you know why you are transferring from tables to divs? Do you know the benefits and drawbacks? THe likely challenges ahead?

If you are displaying tabular data, stick with a table. And if you are making something else, try make it less "boxy"
php_penguin is spot style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Using CSS doesn't mean you can't use tables, just use them for the right purpose
I'm sure that top post used to say table based design into divs...ahh well, I agree with what has been said, my advice should style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
