Well this tool is most useful indeed....
Actually i have a noob question...
I am new in using forums etc. And after I install the gallery everything is fine actually... I can access it in the AdminCP,but when i try to access the index.php in the /gallery / directory there is some kind of error saying
Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/larpplo/public_html/gallery/gallery_global.php on line 57

Warning: require_once(./global.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/larpplo/public_html/gallery/gallery_global.php on line 58

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='/usr/local/php4/lib/php:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/larpplo/public_html/gallery/gallery_global.php on line 58
I think i followed the README.html exactly as it was...
Can someone help this noob with the problem?

Oh... Yeah...almost forgot to mention it...
I am using a vbulletin 3.7.3 Release and ahve a few (4) custom styles, but i doubt they would have anything to do with it...

Looks like your forum path in the config file is incorrect its looking for the file and not able to locate it. Also you should ask this in appropriate area I'd say this area would generate more help

hm.. yes indeed.. I kinda figured it out...
It was a really noobish thing... I guess there were too goders named Gallery with the same content.. The First was outside of the forums dir and the second was inside...
I deleted them and uploaded fresh copies of the Gallery files and re-installed the application and it works just fine...
Thanks for the help and excuse me for the stupid questions.

I'm looking to upgrade from Photopost vBGallery v2.0 and downloaded this when I recently upgraded to vB3.7.4, but after hitting the upgrade option it killed my site's database although I followed the instructions word for word. I uploaded my DB backup, thinking I maybe did something wrong, but it did the same thing all over again when I tried it the second time.

No matter what page I'd go to - as soon as I chose the upgrade option, it just threw me a "Database not found" error and every page on the forum, etc is effected as well.

Any ideas?

edit: nevermind, it works now (forgot to edit the usergroup permissions)

this works perfect on 3.8.0 for anyone who wants to know.

question: is there any way that I can make regular image attachments in members' forum posts go to the gallery?

I have it installed on Vbulletin 3.8 and mostly without a problem, but whenever a member wants to reply to a picture they get the message;

1. Please complete both the subject and message fields.
2. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters

But they have more than 10 characters, when they try again their reply just dissapears from the text box is replaced with a 0.

This only happens whit members when I reply as admin, it goes trhough without a problem. How can I fix this?

Gallery has been working fine up until the past couple of days. Nothing has changed but I now have problems uploading files.

The upload looks as though it's going to work fine but when it's finished it gives me just a "white blank screen". When I reload the gallery the pic did not upload.

Any ideas???
