I am little confused, there are links on wordpress blog that looks repetitive on every page, header link , footer link and blogroll links. Is this good or bad?
How google treats them?
Does they have any bad effect on your ranking? They aren't bad but they have very less effect on SEO.
A blogroll link is like a forum link, sitewide and passes very very less link value. Blogroll's are suppossed to be nofollow according to Google, so if Google's algorithm is smart enough to identify blogroll links from other links i can say that Blogrolls may provide NO link juice at all.
In fact, there is always a probability for you to get penalised for buying links and the webmaster for not nofollowing sold links. Quote: Originally Posted by Snak3 http://www.v7n.com/forums/seo-forum/208456-blogroll-good-bad-terms-seo.html#post1477322

So IMO blogroll is effective way of getting backlink They aren't bad but they have very less effect on SEO.
