32 bit Firefox in 64 bit Linux Environment

Hi All,

I am running RHEL 5/64bit and I was wondering how I could always launch my 32-bit firefox as opposed to the 64-bit version. What I have done in the past is to mv the 64-bit firefox script in /usr/bin to /usr/bin/firefox_old and create a soft link in /usr/bin to /usr/lib/firefox<i386>/firefox which then makes the 32-bit browser the default. The crux of the issue is this: every time there is an update to the 64-bit version of firefox the firefox file in /usr/bin gets overwritten with the 64-bit version of the firefox script.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
