As far as internet searches were concerned, I was aware that Yahoo, as a search engine, was not in the same league anymore as the other bigger players such as Google, however I was not aware that it is beginning to rely more and more on Microsoft's search technology to function. As far healthy competition is concerned, not sure this is a good thing. Has Yahoo thrown the towel in as far as being a major competitior in the search engine stakes?

I wish yahoo would step up. I dont want to rely solely on google for most of my organic hits. Google has just taken over the majority of searching. My question is that the deal for only 10 years. After that ? If yahoo thinks that its taking new strategy to beat Google. What it will do after 10 years? I feel yahoo should redesign/renew its search engine like Bing. As fer as search engine is concerned Google is the best. In near future I do not see any one can compete them. They are regularly updating their technology &
