XSL file and external scripts

I have linked some JScript files into XSL file. XSL file is Windows-1250 encoded.If JS file is saved with Windows-1250 codepage, national characters are notdisplayed correctly on W98 and W2k. On W95 it works fine. On W2k and W98it works, when I save JScript files as unicode, buti doesn't work on W95. Is there a way to save external scripts in nationalcodepage or I have to always determine OS version?Thanks
