I just got Windows XP and when I go to open an HTML page made in Notepad through Internet Explorer it just opens the Notepad document and doesn't show it like a website. Does anyone know why this is and what can ben done about it?

I have made web pages before through HTML but not with Windows XP.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Well, there's your problem. ;)

Right-click the file, and choose "Rename".
Then change the extension to .html. When it asks if you really want to change the extension, choose Yes.I thought that if you go to all files and save it as a .htm file it will. You are right. Click on ALL FILES and save as .html or .htm. It should work the same way.
