XMLHTTP post vs get and squid cache (VB)

I have a xmlhttp GET that works fine through a SQUID CACHE.When I do a POST, the squid cache denies it.Are there some thorns on a POST that stops it from returning the XML?Is there anyway I can authenticate to the squid cache in my code?RPC ?All replies considered...Thanks.James
