I have to provide some pretty sophisticated word processing capabilities,within my current Visual Basic application. Capabilities include: font selection& sizing, line and paragraph spacing, tabs, tables insertion including cellmanipulation and formating, page numbering, bullets, headers and footers,graphics insertion, and field/tag insertion for later merging with data.I'm currently planning to use and ActiveX word processing component, whichsaves in either a proprietary or RTF formats. Is there such a thing as XML-basedword processor? How can I make better use of the XML, that is, provide thesame capabilities and store the documents as XML?I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can offer suggestions, solutionsor a direction!!!Thanks!!!Dave Flood
