XML Encoding

hi all,i have a problem with XML Encoding. I encode a XML string data and pass thatstring to another where dom loads that string and does some other operations.But when i load dom again i have to encode the XML element data & this goeson everywhere. Is there a way to do it only once.ThanksVishnu
