In researching XML for practical end user business applications involving tabular data, I'm sold on the value of XML over HTML.
However, outside of custom programming, are there ANY options out there for say marketing or financial analysts to do it themselves with the ability to:
1) Read XML data natively
2) Create formulas & calculations against the XML data
3) Output the formatted reports to a dynamic web page and/or updated the source XML file
4) Be able to do #1 - #4 without hand coding XML, XSLT,Saxon,Xpath, etc.?
Pls confirm as I've created my first XML test files using MS-Excel and evaluation tools, but need to find other similar tools to scale across the process items listed above.
