My site pr=2 has all pages indexed without the www version .
It is also ranking good for many urls.
Should I redirect naked domain to www one or should i redirect www version to naked one?
Or leave it as it is?
For which one should i build backlinks? It's best to stick to one.
I generally recommend that you find out which one your best backlinks use and stick with that.
If you have an issue with mixed usage. It's ideal to request some to switch so it's all consistent.
Your final solution is to use 301s to redirect to your chosen domain.
Saying that. Google is well aware of this basic problem and I don't think it has a major negative effect. If you are getting good ranking without www then i don't think that there is need to change to www, as people always fights to get their site to the top position and this thing is already getting to you. Leave the thing as it is and keep on working more on it to get more better result. Quote: Originally Posted by musclenatural My site pr=2 has all pages indexed without the www version .

For which one should i build backlinks? Hi,
Sticking to the current well-ranking form of your domain and then performing a 301 redirection from the other form to the in-use one would be OK.
all the best, Nothing happened if you want to change it, but why you want that if you are getting good results without w w w, if you want to change than do proper 301 redirect. use carefully 301 redirection to use with out www to www redirect. Find seo friendly code for it I suggest that you maintain the url and stop on redirects as the latter may just spurn away the efforts you have put on your linkbuilding work. Well from my point of view,if you get high rankings without the www so I do not think that we need to modify the web, when people are always fighting for the top of the site and this issue is already coming to you. Leave it as is, and must work harder and get better results.
