World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstars Stevie Richards and Colin Delaney, Raw tag team Robbie & Rory of The Highlanders, SmackDown Diva Cherry, and WWE referee Wes Adams as of Aug. 15, 2008. WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.<br />

why are they releasing so many people?<br />

It needed to be done!!They have no use for those guys,it's better for the company to clean up the roster,not to mention those guys can go get jobs elsewhere and maybe actually get air time!!

Whenever the creative staff can't think of a good way to use people they fire them. The WWE does this alot. In some cases they should fire the uncreative staff instead but that won't happen.

The ECW Superstars are lousy...
The Highlanders are tag team jobbers, they had been in WWE for 2 years and still known as jobbers ?? better for the Highlanders to be released....
Cherry made her debut in 1999, won JCW Women's title from April Hunter, had been at WWE developmental in OVW.., began appearing on the WWE's main roster of Sd! around January 2006..

I thought the lousy wrestlers are being fired
2. Cherry, The Highlanders & Referee are released because their WWE contracts ended. Cherry, in my opinion, will still continue wrestle..
