Working with templates

I just Download ed a template to work with, it was sent to my email as a zip, i unziped it, and opened it, now Ive got 20 gif files saved to disk....do I work from the index.html file. Im really not sure what Im supposed to do, and what are all those gif files for?The gif files are a part of the layout and the buttons.
Could be: mouse-over buttons.
So you have to put text on it.
This can be done with irfanview in a simple way.
:rocker:Yes, you work with the index.html file. If you want to edit the graphics you will need some kind of graphics program.
Good Luck,
PaulYou usually always work with the .html files. Sometimes, you need to edit the .gifs and other images formats to your liking (logos, etc.) but that's rare.Ok....I thought things were supposed to be simpler working with a template, I just uploaded my index.html file to my host, all my gif buttons have disappeared, and red x's have replaced them, any suggestions?Forgot the link.My site (http://nspeverflex.freeservers.com/index.html)you probably didnt upload the pictures.Maybe his host doesn't allow dirty images ;).See if there are any probems in [here (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... =&outline=)]
