I'm trying to center an image in a div & have text wrap around it on all 4 sides. The best I've been able to come up with so far uses "float" and puts the image to one side of the div or the other.
Anybody know how to do what I want?As far as I know, there is no way in CSS yet. CSS 3 may allow for multi-column text layouts (i.e. newspaper text columns). But nothing that does what you want, that I can tell.
Bert Bos is listed as the CSS contact for the WWWC and you could try e-mailing him, or signing up for the W3C mailing list and discuss what you want there. It might not be too late to include something like that in the CSS 3.0 spec.I was afraid the answer might be something like that. Seems like "float:center" would be a gimme, but...
Thanks for the reply.
