Hi Friends,

Recently I have launched my new website in opencart and made it search engine friendly like; I have used proper keywords in metatags, content, heading tags, interlinking, footer and also I have made site map for this, as per SEO point of view I have made my website search engine friendly. But when I search in search engine for seen my web pages like; site:abc.com the search engine provide me proper pages but instead of this when I search same website like; site:www.abc.com the search showing error or not provide me website pages in search engine.

I did one mistake I have added my website in Google Analytic and Google Webmaster tool with www, so I just want to confirm that it will be effect on tracking my website or is this rest for me.

I am waiting your attention for this, Thank you. Did you 301 redirect one version of your domain name to the other?

Which version of the domain name are you promoting? I have my domain set up in Google Webmaster Tools & Google Analytics as the www version.

I am also promoting this version, as this is the version I prefer over the non-www.

Maybe because you site is still relatively new, Google has yet to ascertain that both are one in the same. Google can be a little slow when it comes to indexing new sites correctly.

Much Thanks,

BiologyWebmaster I don't have any more kn knowledge about this but My domain is basically shopping related.

Which version of the domain name are you promoting? It doesn't matter what type of site you have. You have to pick one version of your domain name (either with www or not) and 301 permanent redirect the other one to it.
301 Permanent Redirect

Basic 301 Permanent Redirect

Just telling Google in Webmaster Tools does not tell the "other" search engine bots which domain name you wish to use.

You can check they have done it correctly here: http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php Quote: Originally Posted by HTMLBasicTutor I'm assuming this:

Yea, I agree with u. thanks for fix this isue.. yes, there are issue about canonical you can say, so better fix that with with www Dear Friends,

Recently I have learned about this issue and finally I have decided that Google Webmaster and Google Analytic only track our website and they did not tracking our website url. By the way I appreciate your positive reply for this, Thankyou. Quote: Originally Posted by azeem.tamboli Dear Friends,
