The site that I'm doing SEO (switchr.net) got listed in download.com in the webapp section. Here is the link from download.com http://download.cnet.com/Switchr/3000-2140_4-75450241.html . But the problem is I didn't get a direct backlink all I got is a link that redirects to www.switchr.net . The redirect link is in "Try It Now" link.
The question is will that give me link juice? Can bots find those links? Since its a dofollow link, I think it does pass link juice but not that much since its indirect link. =) I don't think it will return a back link for your site. Quote: Originally Posted by PalmGeo

I tried yahoo explorer, they don't have it in their top 1000 backlinks list. I think it considerd blackhat SEO trick.
don't use bcoz ur compitator can spam report.
