I have seen so many people who submit the same article to 25 to 30 article directories at a time, but as we all know,if Google find out same data linking to same page, consider it as spam.....
I think this question can helpful to everybody(definitely to me also...) so I ask, submission of SAME article in multiple directories can be consider as SPAM by Google ??
Please give little descriptive answer so that everybody can understand your logic.... NO body knows...!!!
Common champs, if you alone can not decide than give some thought so that we can find the answer together.... Well what if a lot of websites re-use your article because its great - is that spam?
Same thing with press releases that get picked up by hundreds of websites all pointing back to you.
For these reasons I don't think it's spam - but then again I don't work at Google I think theres no problem about it... but you should consider to change your description in every directory as well. I think this can change the thing..... No ...it is not spam...
The value of the article will be rated by Google depending on where it first is published....
(Various article sites have their own rules about "duplicate postings"....not the same as duplicate content) Quote: Originally Posted by Nirav Dave NO body knows...!!!

But there may be a degradation of the back links since they are from same content. I would say your PR will not be improved unless you should have unique content with the back links. waste of time Google will not consider it as spam, but there will be a slight difference on its value though... Thanks I do not think is spam, look at press releases - the same content on various sites.
I will use different anchor text. No, Google does not consider this practice to be spam, as long as all articles are not published at the same time. What is dangerous is receiving lots of new links at the same time to its website.
Otherwise, it is rather the directories that are taking risks to accept the same duplicate content. Their pages will only appear even more in the search results. I very much doubt it will be considered as spam. However Assurance is right about getting too many links a once though. I have spoken to many people who claim to have been penalised for this Hey man if it is considered spam then we must do it.
Yes we must do to build these spam links for our competitors. Personally, I prefer not to get backlinks directly to my website from pages with duplicate content. I think it's too much of a risk.
In addition, most article directories provide little to no value in backlinks. You should try submitting unique articles to the top article directories. I think you would get the most out of your time and effort this way and with no risk for a spam penalty. Quote: Originally Posted by Desitadka Hey man if it is considered spam then we must do it.
