Why??????????

I used the <layer> tag on my personal website. (Still under huge renovation) It shows up fine in Dreamweaver, but on my host the image does not show up in the background. WHY???

BTW: Animgirl, in Photoshop 7, how do you turn the text you wrote into a hyperlink?

Thanks,
Kevin NaiaCan't help you on the <layer> thing. I haven't used that tag, and I don't use DW.
As for a hyperlink in P.S... The text in a Photoshop image just becomes part of the gif, jpeg, or whatever when you save it. The only way I know of to make a hyperlink with it(image based) is to switch to ImageReady, and create a slice where you want the link to be (i.e. around your text). Then, go to the properties palette and type the URL you want that particular slice to link to.Thanks! Can you give us a link to the page you are having trouble with? The first thing you want to check, though, is to make sure that the paths are correct and that the picture is in the right place. You will also want to run your code through the W3C's HTML validator (http://validator.w3.org) to make sure that Dream Weaver is producing well structured code. I don't know how the current crop of WYSIWYG editors is since I use NotePad, but in the past, they tended to produce bad code.
