please help and advice, I manage the site with a special scholarship topic, keywords and metatags is set, a domain is also closely connected. but when typing the keyword "scholarships", "scholarship 2010", etc, google does not find it out.
do you have backlink pointed to your site?
what is your url site? When did you launch your site? Is your site Indexed? How are your backlinks? How old is your site. Did you build links for your site using keywords like scholarship, scholarship 2010. Onpage optimization is good for indexing and crawling but to be visible in search results, you have to do some offpage optimization. You should proper use of particular keyword on your site and backlinks on particular keyword. Then you will find your site on SERP. It takes time for your site to be index by Google. Please be patient... There may be some problem in your website. You can navigate links entire websites and if possible add some deep links in your home page so that crawler can visit that page easily My guess is you haven't been at it long enough. Or maybe Google is giving you a penalty for something? Avoid that black hat stuff...
You say you are on the "last page" of google, what do you mean? You went through all the results pages till you got to the back and you're there? I think that might mean your site is still really new. Google will take time to index all pages if website is new. There are few things you must do, get quality link back to your website, submit your sitemap of website to Google.
Using Google webmaster tools you can review the pages been indexed, you can submit Sitemap and find problems in your website and more.
http://www.google.com/webmasters/ Tip: type your domain name into Google search to see if they have even found your site.
Just because we think we have done a great job does not mean that G will agree. hi Zandine,
