Hi,

I am wondering that why isn't any other domain name come up when you search for something like .mx, .cc.

Does google only bring up .co.uk and .com? In my own experiences, Google would treat all domain suffix in the same way. All domains with different suffix would need to compete with each other for ranking higher.

Have a nice day, Google should index all domains with any extension as i know. There is not different between them. Try installing the Google Toolbar and setting it to search from the specific country you want. You have to search from the toolbar. If you search from the Google home page you get they are picking up you IP and sending you to the country specific home for the country you are in.

Also, it could be that the topic you are searching for is not optimized well enough to show up high in the results for the country specific Google home page you are using. Google geotarget results depending on the country you are in, so making a search in for example Mexico will yield more Mexican specific content and URLS. That may be the reason you dont see as many 'foreign' urls in the search results list. Of course .com's are universal so they will appear in most all the search lists from all countries.
