who are using vBExperience promotion system?

a good system.

I've swtiched on vBExperience promotion system, but I didn't find any configuration about it, by what condition group will be changed?

vBExperience claims it has its own promotion system and suggest swtich of VB'S promotion system

do you mean we can't control the usergroup like VB its promotion system does?
Like, if one member gets to level 3, System move it to MyDefinedUsergroup (id)14 ?

I don't have formal experiance with it but accoring to the readme & main posts it should do what you are requesting.

I.E. User is in usergroup A. User reaches level 2 & moves to Usergroup B. User reaches level 3 & moves to usergroup C.

the only option I found is to swtich on or off VBexperience promotion system.

To motivate users to do more on your forum I created the promotion system. By reaching defined xperience points the user will be moved to another usergroup - where you can set graphics, shadows, highlighting, etc... What is interesting in combination with this: you can give the user more possibilities f.e. Larger avatars or bigger PM box. A log of the promotions is available.

There should be an XML called vBExperience Level - I believe this is it.
 
my question about level matter
I have modified vBExperience Level (XLM file) and then import to my forum with allow overwrite set to YES, but I don't see any change.
I have tried export it out from forum and see that the level is right, the same as imput.

for instance: change from level 1 to level 3 for any user have 50 points. but the user still at level 1 after imported new level

I am also try to recount "Update vBexperience points" but does't take effect. I did some post and some other action to get more points and them recount again, but get the same result, I mean no change in level

note that Use the promotion system? is set to YES


How to force vbb process after imported new level file ? and how long it normally do update ?

Any one have experience about this, please advice.

I wouldn't recommend using vBPromotion, cuz, you need to make Another Usergroup and also vB Promotions user must wait until Promotions task is executed ... then he will be able to access protected forum. How much time user must wait it depends on settings in AdminCP/Scheduled Tasks... and if you set this to run every minute it pushes your server. If you set it to 2 or more minutes then user must wait more and more... and nobody like it
 
As far as I know, there is no add-in which better than vBexperience. I am looking for the same function as vbexperience to apply to my forum.

Do you have any other add-in to recommend ?

manual creating group for vbexperience is fine with me, it's not a problem.

Is there any other point which you think we should not using vbexperience ?
