I want to start a blog in spanish, My main market is Spain but I want to have it available also for the latinamerican people. I would say I would like to aim for 50% of traffic from Spain and 50% of traffic from latinamerica.
It is a blog I will be investing quite a lot, so I am quite concerned to get the correct domain from the start. Luckily, there are domain availables which match exactly my keywords. A while ago I bought two domains, which are:
1. Keyword1keyword2.es (from Spain)
2. Keyword1Keyword2.info
Now I need to decide which one to use. I was always inclined to use the spanish (.es) since I have read that it improves the rankings in the specific country. However I am not too sure if it will be worse for latinamericans and at the end I will end up loosing more (from latinamericans) that what I gain from spanish people.
And while I feel the present is Spain, latinamerica is more the future...
