The sony is probably the one that i would buy, I hear some stories about hp that dont sound to good, but it your choice-)hope this helps.

Looks way better.
Has great specs. For 800 its worth it.
Hp laptops are great. Just delete the useless software it comes with

hp and compac are loaded with adware and spyware from the factory, windows restore is in a hd partion, so a restore brings all the bloatware back, these comps from the factory are running at least 20 more processes than a comp should have, the games are popup generaters!
