Please Poll this.Sorry for voting the .htm but actually .html is more search engine friendly, especially Google-Friendly.~ CCDoes the extension really play a big role in PR or being indexed?Extension has nothing to do with PR. PR is related to what and how many pages link to a particular URL. That's it.So this poll is pretty much preference of language?The question seems so weird that I'm not sure to understand it.Why would the extension does any matter for the search engines?Most of the web pages include a mix of HTM, PHP, JS and other languages scripts, whatever their extensions. - If you want your relevant content to be seen by ANY search engine, write it in the HTM part of them.- If your pages are built by a PHP engine, the result will be coded in HTM (They will be seen as HTM content pages by the SE), so there is not any problem- JavaScript and other languages are not allways analyzed by SE if they don't generate HTM code. These parts of the pages may be ignored.
