will anyon please tell me that which domain name google prefer more for search engine ranking? .com or .net All the extension are same.
however, i will always suggest .com becuase it is "default" on our mind I've not come across any difference in the extension although I'd be more than happy to be told otherwise. However, more important is the fact that you are targeting a high google search rank - in that case the extension of your URL is irrelevant. It becomes more relevant if you are doing offline marketing where a .com is much better than a .org or a .tk since once you've got the name of your site into someone's head they're generally going to assume it's a .com (or dot whatever is the target audience, so .de for Germany). If you've given a choice I'd say to go with .com Definitely .com, of course I've seen any other extension ranking high on google, even .ws, but with the same amount of backlinks, content etc. I think the .com will win
