that looks very interesting that definitely sounds like it will be good i dont know any books either as i havent read any, learned all from w3.org and here as guidenceI just bought a new book to use for reference when it comes to CSS. I think it is great. If you're a beginner or advanced, it can be very useful.
The book is called "DHTML and CSS for the World Wide Web" and can be found at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.webbedenvironments.com/dhtml/">http://www.webbedenvironments.com/dhtml/</a><!-- m -->
Take a peek, hope this will help you!
RobbieI bought a very good one a while ago, it re-taught me HTML and I got to grips with CSS through it aswell. It's an excellent reference guide if ever I need it, but it's also good if you're just learning.
Elizabeth Castro's HTML for the World Wide Web 5th Edition
I think it's in the same series as the one Andrew bought. The Castro books are good intros to HTML, but like all the HTML books I've read, they all leave out 1 or 2 things. I do find such books useful when they have index's of data for symbols or listings for properties & values (one's you may not be aware are possible to use).
For CSS:
"Cascading Style Sheets - designing for the web" by Lie & Bos. Hakon Lie "invented" CSS, at least brought it into the web. Inside the back & front covers is a nice quick reference of various selectors and where they are explained inside... I use this all the time. Most CSS is explained as well as anywhere else I've ever seen.
The other 2 guru's for actually designing are Jeffrey Zeldman and his "Designing with Web Standards" book explains a lot of the bugs and issues you come up against find when designing. Professionals often quibblee with him, but he writes well. Great for beginners. His website is FULL of interesting stuff, from simple to extremely advanced. BTW, Hakon Lie (above) has a blurb on the jacket.

Eric Meyer has written some books on designing with CSS that are the equal of Zeldman... I've leafed through them but haven't actually bought or used them (I think you may still be able to get a free chapter in PDF form from his site?). From just browsing, I liked what I saw.
