when to start making money?

Well, I have had my site for about 6 months. I have still not landed a dmoz listing and I am really wanting to start listings different guides and charters and charging a monthly listing. My forums are what I need to take off and I only have 41 members. Would you all even try to advertise with such a slow forum?I have been averaging about 1000 to 1500 visitors a month.Any suggestions?DougHow long were you all in the game before you statred advertising?You may want to ask the mods or bigwebmaster how they got this forum where it is today.goode idea can you all give me some pointers. suggestions ect.Thanks veto!DougWell...you could find similar type forums and post links within your message to your forum. I've found several other seo forums becuase of links to threads found within messages on this site.You could try some affiliate programs for advertising initially, but I am going to be in the same boat as you.
