I'm trying to work out how often Google checks my sites. It seems to be quite erratic - sometimes a week can go by, other times only a couple of days - I can't seem to make any sense of it.
My theory is that Google actually has several different robots which check for different things and these run at different intervals but I've no evidence for this - just can't think of any other explanation.
