I have been reading about SEO, and it seems to me that one technique is to submit a RoR sitemap to rorweb.
But how will that help in SEO? I mean, it's not like the submitting sitemaps to Google or Yahoo right? ROR(Resource of a Resource) sitemap is an independant XML format. It describes any object of a sites content ina generic way. Search engines then can understand that content. ROR sitemaps are also very good for letting all search engines know exactly what objects are on your site. It's not just for showing what pages exist. You can show what images, PDFs, videos, etc exist. That's why they say it helps search engines "understand" what content exists on your site.
