What requisites are needed to count as backlinks in google?

Hello all, what need a web to count as backlink in google to my web if they put a link to me, need are indexed on google? have a page rank more than 0? anyone have answers to this question and other requisites that i ignored Are you talking about what backlinks count?Any link to your site that a bot can follow counts.not import they have PR 0 or her site not indexed in google or other search engine? If the site that links to yours is not indexed by any search engines - how would any search engine be able to get to their site without first visiting your site.Basically PR as stated before by others is updated 3-4 times a year (So every 3 or 4 months) - this means it ca be out of date. Any website that has a few links coming into it that lets your website be found by spiders will help... if they had a PR0 then it may not help much - just the fact it will help your website to be found.Thank you Gancean for reply, and i have a new question , if the page with im exchange in her index have PR like 5, and she directory have PR 0 or 2, wath page rank coun for the backlink to me, 5 or 0/2 ? if the directory are in the same server than the index... The PR is the PR of the page the link is on. If her index is PR9 but your link is on a PR 1 page, You will be credited with a PR 1 backlink.But forget about PR, Your goal with backlinks should be targeted traffic and links from sites with similar content. PR Is completely useless, it serves no purpose.But with that said, I am selling PR 5 text links at the moment if you want to buy one lolYes, just concentrate on trying to get similar sites linking into you rather than getting directory listings.Thanks for your comments guys, and meman i take in count if a day buy links
