Hey I got a few attacks to my pc the other day and I was wondering what kind of attacks are.<br />
<br />
I got Kaspersky and this is what it show <br />
<br />
Attack Description Intrusion.Win.MSSQL.worm.Helkern<br />
<br />
Source "Some numbers" (ain't putting it for protection)<br />
<br />
Protocol UDP<br />
<br />
Local Port 1434<br />
<br />
There were a few of there attacks all with the same Protocol and with the same Local Port but with differents Source.<br />
<br />
Should I stop there attacks? what do they do? where do they come from?<br />
<br />
Thanks everyone for your answer.<br />

You should stop any attack instantly! They're probably trying to install a program on your computer disc, in order to manipulate it!

Get a FIREWALL quickly!!! Hacking is SOOOOOO easy when people are not protected!

I know it as a programmer, believe me!

It is some kind of attack coming from china usually.

You should always stop attacks.
Go into your firewall and close port 1434. Then they can't do anything. As long as you are not running an SQL server closing that port won't affect you.

Intrusion.Win.MSSQL.worm.Helkern

This is a worm that eat's through your hardrive looking for user/pass information linging to a database, This attack is primarily to gain access to a users IIS or PHP control. If you have a Webservice on your computer, block it, even if not block it... Will still decode all .txt files so if you have any passwords, it will sens to it's main host.
