I think URL structures make a very significant impact and I have noticed that short & sweet urls tend to do best in search results that very long keyword stuffed urls. domain should be use in targate keyword which that help in seo,
1- we should avoid hyphen, underscore etc.

Its better to use static URLs. with the targeted keywords separated by hyphens (or dashes) rather than underscores.
For eg: www. xyz. com/software-company is SEO friendly

Placing a keywords in url is important, web page wont rank well without keywords in the url.
