I've searched a lot on the subject, but can't find much that seems recent (i.e., within the last year). What is the general concensus on schema languages?
XML Schema seems overly complicated. I've seen DSD and that's what I'm inclined to go with, but am hesitant because it may not be so popular.
For the most part, it's not a big deal what I choose, since this particular XML application is very limited and is unlikely to see much use outside of the company. So I have a lot of leeway, but wanted to know what the state of opinions is with respect to schema languages.
