Some SEO service provider says they are expert in linkbait. I dont know about it. Please explain how can I use it and what are its advantages? Link baiting is practically the only pure white hat method out there. The idea is to produce content so good, people will build links for you. You can do this through infographics, viral videos, press releases of actual news that people care about, and through other manners of content.
The disadvantage would be link baiting doesn't work for everyone. Some topics simply aren't too viral on the internet. Also, the links built for you probably won't have keyword anchor texts.

If you really want to do link baiting I must say you should write something controversial which definitely gets link bait but here one disadvantage is that you've to be cautious as which kind of controversial things you are writing. Obviously there may be a few tricks they have but generally it's impossible to control what the masses do (or they'd be billionaires ) If you post something interesting or recent events in anywhere like Article, Blog, any Video which may be related to your site/blog or not and get maximum visitors is called Link Bait. It can help you to get better result. It's just simply a catchy phrase or statement where your keywords are being anchored. A text bait that will catch the attention of the viewers and make them click on it. Captivating, hilarious, awakening, content that people just can't resist sharing! Linkbait is a word that gets passed round a lot in SEO.
Basically linkbait is a content which can be placed on a webpage. It may be an article, blog, image, audio or a video clip that is designed specifically to gain attention or encourage others to link to the website. Honestly, I think that Link Baiting is one of the hardest thing to do in SEO. You have to come up with a really interesting topic, a catchy and unique one to please the readers and hopefully share it to more people thinking that they must share it to everyone.
